Our Story

Skylight Nursery and Primary School has a rich history that dates back to 1989 when it was founded by Mr Muwanga Samuel. At the time, the school had both boarding and day sections and was committed to providing quality education to young children in the community.

After undergoing extensive renovation, the school was reopened in 2020, with all sections from Nursery to Primary Seven. Skylight Nursery and Primary School is now an all-inclusive institution that enrolls pupils from all backgrounds, regardless of religion, culture, tribe, or gender.

The school is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional development of each student. It has a team of highly qualified teachers who are passionate about education and committed to providing quality teaching and learning experiences.

The School follows the Uganda National Examinations’ Board Nursery and Primary School curriculum. However, special emphasis is put on quality education through employing professional qualified teachers, use of quality learning materials and childhood development by establishing a safe and supportive quality learning environment.
